The organizers have changed the draw system for the starting positions for 2006. The draw is done in three stages: the first on 10 September between mushers registered at that date. The second will take place among those registered from 11 September until 1 December and the last will be among those registered from 2 December until the musher meeting at the beginning of March.
We are right in the middle of the summer heat and the mushers are taking advantage of having the dogs inactive to organize material, vaccinate and plan the next season, which is getting closer. It’s time to look back at what we’ve done, look at improvements and put all our efforts into the new projects we have chosen.
The Aragon land dog sled championship took place this year on 19 and 20 of March. The Kobalaq team’s musher, Jorge Andrés re-took the championship title in the 6S category.
